Abe Drogin has been active in dance and other aspects of music theater. This started when Abe was picked out of PS 41 National Dance Institute rehearsals in 4th grade for a scholarship to their SWAT Team. Abe's progress at PS 41 and at NDI is depicted in the photo galleries and videos below (and embedded at left).

Max Drogin has been active in sports, excelling in the HSMSE cross country team, the Flying Dragons. Max came in second place in the 12-14 year-old age category in his last race of fall 2010, held at Van Cortlandt Park (see him at far right at the start below). Max was still practicing as part of the winter team (see photo at top - Max is at the top center, with his coach, Tom Henning). Max has been apponted junior captain of the team in his sophomore year (2011-2012). Most recently, Max came in second place in the 14-year-old category in his first race of fall 2011 (of course, he turned 15 in November!).
Congratulations to Max for being named Most Outstanding Sophomore in school year 2011-2012 at HSMSE!!
Max was also named Most Valuable Player by his cross country coach!
